Mr. Henry Kwasi Prempeh-Eck

Mr. Henry Kwasi Prempeh-Eck is the Past Director of Legal Education and the Ghana School of Law. Prior to that he was a Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law where he taught Practical Conveyancing, Land Law and Drafting of Deeds and Documents. He served the General Legal Council in various capacities for a period of twenty-four years.  Prior to joining the Ghana School of Law faculty, he worked at Republic Bank (formerly HFC Bank) as Head of the Recoveries Department.

Henry is a Partner at Lex-Eck Consult which specializes in providing legal advice and legal representation to its clients. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, a member of the International Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

He is a Founding member of the Ghana Association of Certified Mediators and Arbitrators (GHACMA). He has served as a resource person at both the Judicial Training Institute and the National Banking College of Ghana. He is a Board member of the Ghana Integrity Initiative.   He is a former member of the Board of the Legal Aid Commission.

Henry was called to the Ghana Bar in October 1988. He holds a Master of Laws degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
